Design: experience

UI/UX and graphic design that makes your business easy to understand

We design logos, brand identities and the interfaces of websites and apps for businesses in Adelaide and across Australia. Because we also build what we design, every screen is planned to work in code, not just in a mock-up.

Design problems we solve

  • A brand that does not match the business

A logo made in a hurry years ago no longer reflects the size or quality of what you deliver.

  • Inconsistent materials

Website, quotes, social posts and signage all look slightly different, so the brand never builds recognition.

  • Users get lost

Visitors cannot find what they need, or staff avoid a system because it is confusing to use.

  • Designs that cannot be built

Beautiful mock-ups that ignore real content, devices or technical limits, then fall apart in development.

What we design

  • Logo and brand identity

Logos, colour palettes, typography and usage guidelines, as we did for KMV Lawyers and JT Diesel & Maintenance.

  • Marketing and print collateral

Business cards, brochures, menus, social media templates and advertising creative in a consistent style.

  • Website UI design

Page layouts, components and responsive behaviour designed around your content and conversion goals.

  • App and software UX

User flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications, tested with the people who will use them.

  • Data visualisation and infographics

Complex numbers turned into clear charts, reports and diagrams.

  • Design refresh

Updating an existing brand or interface without throwing away the recognition you have built.

How a design project runs

  1. Brief and research

Your goals, audience, competitors and any constraints on how the design will be used.

  2. Concepts

A small number of distinct directions, presented with the reasoning behind each.

  3. Refine

We develop the chosen direction with your feedback, testing it on real content and devices.

  4. Deliver

Final files in every format you need, with guidelines so others can use the design correctly.

TimberMax Supply: inventory, content and invoicing portal

An internal portal that brings inventory, content management and invoicing into one secure system for the TimberMax Supply team.

Staff sign in to a single application instead of juggling separate tools for stock, product content and invoices. Because it is internal software, there is no public site to visit.

The outcome looks top-tier and works perfectly across web and print. We’ll definitely work with him again and highly recommend his services.

Questions we often hear

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

What files do I get with a logo?

Vector and web formats for light and dark backgrounds, an icon-only version and a short guide covering colours, fonts and clear space.

Can you design the interface for software another team is building?

Yes. We provide prototypes and a component specification that any development team can work from.

Do you test designs with users?

For apps and software we walk real users through prototypes before development, because fixing a flow on paper is far cheaper than in code.
